Shubham Nokhwal was born on 12 January 2000 in Chak 56 LNP village of Ganganagar, Rajasthan. He comes from a modest and educated family. His father, Indraj Nokhwal, is a CTI in the Indian Railways, and his mother, Shakuntala Verma, is a teacher in a Government Upper Primary School. His elder sister, Swati Nokhwal, is also an IAS officer, selected in the 2016 batch. His brother-in-law, Kuldeep, is also serving as an IAS officer.
Shubham’s early education was in Kesarisinghpur, and later he studied at Sacred Heart Convent School, Sriganganagar. He pursued his graduation in Philosophy from Hansraj College, Delhi University.
