On May 29, 2025, her husband IRS Gaurav Garg made headlines after a serious altercation in the Income Tax Department office in Hazratganj, Lucknow. He was allegedly assaulted by Assistant Commissioner Yogendra Mishra (2014 batch) following a dispute linked to a departmental investigation.
