Early Life and Education Qualification of IAS Rajat Yadav
Rajat Yadav was born on 5 August 1997 and is 28 years old as of 2025. He comes from Bargadwa Tola of Kushbhauna in Naugarh block, Uttar Pradesh. His father, Suryaman Prasad Yadav, works as Deputy Chief Engineer in Northeast Railway. His mother, Kalavati Yadav, is a former district panchayat member. He also has a younger brother named Hrithik.
Rajat is married to Garima Narula, who is also an IAS officer from the 2023 batch, currently in the Rajasthan cadre.
He completed his early education at Delhi Public School, Indirapuram. He later cracked the JEE Advanced in 2015 with an All India Rank of 2303 and joined the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi. He completed his B.Tech. in Civil Engineering in 2019.
