Early Life And Education Qualification Of Nithya K IAS
Nithya K was born on 16 July 1984 in Devanampalayam village, near Pongalur in Tirupur district, Tamil Nadu. She is 41 years old as of 2025. Her father initially worked in a textile mill and later started his own hotel business. She studied in local schools in Tirupur and Pongalur.
Nithya met her husband Raj Kishore from Andhra Pradesh while working in Hyderabad. He played a key role in encouraging her UPSC journey and supported her throughout.
Education Details
Nithya pursued Computer Engineering from Anna University. After graduation, she joined Satyam Computers in Hyderabad as a software professional, where she worked before beginning her UPSC journey.
