Katta Simhachalam was born on 16 May 1989 in Gudapali village, located in Malikipuram Mandal of Andhra Pradesh. He is 36 years old as of 2025. His early life was filled with hardship, especially after losing his father Katta Vali, who was in the business of trading old gunny bags, in the year 2008. His mother’s name is Venkata Narsamma. Simhachalam has been blind from birth, yet he never allowed his disability to hold him back.
For his education, he pursued B.A. in English from Andhra University. Later, he completed Master of Arts in Public Management from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi — one of India’s most prestigious institutions.
