Jai Kishan was born on 13 August 1992 in Majhariya village of Karakat block, Bihar. He belongs to a humble and educated family. His father, Jaymangal Sinh, worked with the Times of India in Patna, and his mother, Saroj Kumari, is a government school teacher. Jai is the youngest of five siblings—two brothers and two sisters.
He completed his 10th education from Gyan Niketan, Patna, and later pursued B.E. in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology (BIT) Mesra, Ranchi, a premier engineering institute of India.
