Early Life And Education Qualification Of Dr. Pradeep Gawande IAS
Dr. Pradeep Gawande was born on 9 December 1980 in Pune, Maharashtra. As of 2025, he is 44 years old. His father’s name is Keshaorao Gawande, and his mother’s name is Satyabhama Gawande.
He is married to IAS Tina Dabi, who was the UPSC 2015 topper (AIR 1). She is also known as the first Dalit woman IAS officer. They met during the COVID-19 pandemic second wave in Jaipur while both were working in the Health Department. Their friendship turned into a relationship, and they got married in April 2022 in Jaipur. The couple welcomed their first child on 15 September 2023.

Dr. Gawande completed his M.B.B.S. from Government Medical College, Aurangabad. He worked as a medical doctor before preparing for the UPSC Civil Services Examination.
