Early Life and Education Qualification of Mutyalaraju Revu IAS
Born in Chinagollapalem village of West Godavari district, Mutyalaraju Revu grew up in a humble family. His father Narasimha Murthy and his two elder brothers were engaged in farming, while his mother Chintamani managed the household. His early life was marked by hardship, especially when his sister and six friends died due to the absence of proper medical facilities and transportation in their remote village. This tragedy deeply motivated him to work towards improving rural infrastructure.

For his education, he completed B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from Kakatiya University, Hyderabad and later pursued a Post-Graduation in Engineering from IISc Bangalore. His academic brilliance was evident from the start – securing first rank in ECET 1998, third rank in GATE 2002, and first rank in Indian Engineering Services 2003.
