He completed his schooling from City Montessori School, where he studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and secured 92% marks in Intermediate.
He holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Electrical Engineering from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology (MNNIT). He later pursued M.Tech in Computer Technology from IIT Delhi.
Before joining IAS, he worked in a manufacturing company in Bengaluru. In 2010, he cracked the Indian Engineering Services (IES) and joined the Indian Railways. That same year, he also cleared UPSC and joined IRTS, and in 2011 he moved to the Indian Revenue Service (IRS). In 2014, he cracked UPSC again with AIR 12 and joined the IAS.
