Early Life And Education Qualification Of Kanishak Kataria IAS
Kanishak Kataria was born on 17 October 1992 in Jaipur, Rajasthan. As of 2025, he is 33 years old. His father, Sanwar Mal Verma, is a Promotee IAS officer and his mother is a homemaker.
He is married to Sonal Chauhan.
He completed his schooling at St. Paul Senior Secondary School, Kota and scored 94% in 10th and 96% in 12th. Kanishak was an academic topper from the beginning.
Education Details
Kanishak secured AIR 44 in IIT-JEE and took admission in IIT Bombay for B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering. Later, he pursued Master of Laws in Commercial Law from National Law University, Delhi. He also worked as a Data Scientist in Bangalore, earning a high-paying salary, but left his job to prepare for UPSC with a dream to serve the country.
