Early Life And Education Qualification Of Jasmeet Singh Sandhu IAS
Jasmeet Singh Sandhu was born on 23 September 1987 in Delhi and is 37 years old as of 2025. He hails from a well-educated family. His father, Dr. J.S. Sandhu, is a senior scientist and Deputy Director General (Crop Science) at ICAR, and his mother Surinder Kaur is a homemaker.
He is married to IAS Artika Shukla (AIR 4, 2015 batch, Rajasthan cadre). Both met during their training at LBSNAA and are now among the most respected IAS couples in the country.

Jasmeet completed his schooling at Sacred Heart Convent School, Ludhiana. He went on to pursue B.Tech. in Paper Technology from IIT Roorkee, showing strong academic excellence.
UPSC Journey And UPSC Marksheet
Jasmeet began preparing for the UPSC Civil Services Exam in 2010. He did not clear the exam in his first two attempts. In his third attempt, he got selected for the Indian Revenue Service (IRS). While undergoing IRS training at NACEN Faridabad, he reappeared and cracked the IAS exam in his fifth attempt, securing an outstanding AIR 3 in CSE 2015.

Jasmeet Singh Sandhu and Artika Shukla, both from the 2016 IAS batch, met during their training at LBSNAA, Mussoorie. Their journey from fellow toppers to life partners has been admired across the civil services community. Artika secured AIR 4, and Jasmeet secured AIR 3 in the same year (2015). Their bond grew during training, and they later got married.
