Saumya Jha was born on 8 June 1993 and hails from Madhya Pradesh. She is 31 years old as of 2025. Her father, Sanjay Kumar Jha, is a retired IPS officer of the Madhya Pradesh cadre who retired as Director General. Saumya is married to Akshay Godara, who is also an IAS officer from the 2017 Rajasthan batch.
