Early Life And Education Qualification Of Dr. Subodh Agarwal IAS
Dr. Subodh Agarwal was born on 17 December 1965 in Jaipur, Rajasthan, though his ancestral roots lie in Uttar Pradesh. As of 2025, he is 60 years old. He is married to Rolee Agarwal, an officer of the Indian Revenue Service (IRS), and their son Shubh Agarwal also serves as an IRS officer.
Education Details
He has a very strong academic background. He completed his B.Tech in Civil Engineering from IIT Delhi in 1987 and earned a PG Diploma in Systems & Management from IIT Delhi in 1988. He also holds a Master’s in Economics (1999), an LLB from CCS University Meerut (2011), and a Ph.D. in Economics (2011) from the University of Rajasthan. Additionally, he earned a Master in Public Policy (MPP) from Princeton University, USA in 2008.
